I am listening to KZEP 104.5 right now and this band called Saxon is covering King Crimson -- In the Court of the Crimson King.

My dad played King Crimson when I was little.

This cover is good.

"The keeper of the city keys puts shutter on the dreams...
I stand outside the pilgrim's door with insufficient schemes...
The Black Queen chants the funeral march and the cracked bells will ring...
To summon back the Fire Witch to the Court of the Crimson King....

The Gardener plants an evergreen whilst trampling on a flower...

The Yellow Jester does not play, but gently pulls the strings
and smiles while the puppets dance in the Court of the Crimson King."

Merely half remembered lyrics.

Music can take me back in time. Different songs for places, people, and emotions.

Freaky in a way.
