A Man and His Dog

The RCB has a great pick for photo of the day: Mr. Bush playing hide the bone with Barney -- doggie style.

*snicker*

Barney is a Scottish Terrier, but looks very similar to my Ninja bear when he has a schnauzer cut -- making it twice as cute.

Evidently Barney interrupted Bush during a suck up to the nation attempt -- a reading of The Night Before Christmas to 60 lucky (?) kids.

The saddest part of the tale from the Washington Post highlighted Bush's short attention span or could it be lack of ability?

Bush gave up reading after one page, and turned the chore over to his wife, Laura. "Pretty exciting so far, isn't it," the leader of the Free World said as he passed the book.

Also in the Post is an article, Fuzzy Reception At The White House, about "Barney Cam" -- the web site device meant to substitute for the canceled White House Holiday decorations tours.

Having watched it, Barney seems to be a well adjusted, frisky little guy who had no trouble out running whichever poor White House sclub was manning the camera. In addition to dark good looks, he and Ninja share a liking for chewzel bones.

Beware of crappy audio meant to sound like clicking toe nails -- its more like ravenous cichlids eating everything in sight.
