This is a Very Bad Thing...

Prozac has been approved for seven year olds.

Evidently, Eli Lilly made millions off Prozac, but losing the patent in 2001 has let generics cut into their profit margin.

What to do? What to do?

Of course -- expand the market!

Never mind that Prozac stunts growth -- a full half inch over the nineteen weeks its impact was studied.

Losing half an inch of height or more during your growth years due to anti-depressants that don't work any better than sugar pills has to suck.

I'm five foot four and can tell you being short is not a picnic.

Now that Eli Lilly's pet senator Frist heads the senate expect more "evil doings" like this and the Thimerosal law suit immunity slipped into the Homeland Security Bill last November.
