Christina, Departing...

In about an hour, the Suburban is heading East.

Just waiting on the dishwasher and a final load of laundry to finish up...

No real hurry though -- leaving before 1630 would inflict Houston's rush hour on my tender soul and I can do without that experience.

Plus its vital to time the first stop correctly.

Media Mole is allergic to mornings... so rolling in at zero dark what ever would be poor house guest form.

Aside from PCS Vision, I will be webless until Sunday arrival in Baltimore.

*sniffle*

But no matter.

Much to do in the meantime.

Unearthing the winter garb -- sweaters, boots, mufflers, furs... was like discovering old friends.

Haven't had a need for them since base camp moved South.

For those not fortunate enough to live in San Antonio -- where it has been in the seventies this week -- take your jaw up off the floor and go back to shivering... taking comfort that I'll be joining your misery for a few weeks at least.

Just long enough to get a little taste of winter and then run back to paradise.

I expect to grace Virginia Beach, Washington DC, and NY City with my presence....
